How to Use Miswak
A Spiritual & Simple Practice
Using Miswak isn’t just about oral hygiene, it’s a ritual of cleanliness and spiritual mindfulness. Here’s how to use it the right way to get the full benefit.
Step 1
🌿 Wash the stick with clean drinking water.
Step 2
✂ Trim about 1 inch from one end, peeling the bark to reveal the inner fibers.
Step 3
🧼 Chew gently until the fibers soften and form natural bristles.
Step 4
🫗 If the Miswak is tough, soak the tip in clean water for a few hours.
Step 4
🪥 Brush your teeth gently with the bristled end, just as you would with a regular toothbrush.
Step 5
🚿 Rinse the bristles after every use.
Step 6
🔁 Every few days, cut off the used bristles and repeat the process for a fresh start.
